I'm asking for the Happening family to pray, and pray hard for my family. We've been faced with the tragedies of two deaths since August. First, My cousin Tammie passed away in November of breast cancer. And also for my Aunt Linda and her family. Her granddaughter, Lauren, died in August. She was seven years old. She was profoundly retarded and passed away in her sleep the night after her seventh birthday party. Her parents, Shawn and Rachel found out they were pregnant a couple of weeks before Christmas, but when Rachel went to the doctor last Friday, she found out that she lost her baby. Also, Uncle Jimmy (Shawn's father, and Aunt Linda's husband) was diagnosed with cancer the week after Lauren's funeral. His body was infested with cancer, and he was given a year to live. Today, he had surgery because there was a clog in his intestines. It's more cancer and his current prognosis is just a few short weeks. Aunt Linda and Uncle Jimmy were childhood sweethearts, and it's going to be extremely difficult for her. They also have another son, Shane. Shane and his wife Kami just had a baby boy, and they also have an older son, Michael. Please keep all of these people in your prayers. Ask for strength when times get tough, and for the Lord to show mercy on Uncle Jimmy so he doesn't suffer too much. They would be much appreciated!
hey yall, a little late but still needed. josh and i have a grandpa who is in rehab right now. he has already gone through a surgery to remove fluid from his brain. he should be in rehab for about 2 months or so. pray for him and my grandma. they are going through some hard times.

Hey for all of you who know my mom, kathy, please keep her in your prayers in this time. My grandfather has just suffered 2 heart attacks in 2 days, he's not breathing on his own and is hooked up to a lot of monitors and all. So, my mom is in texas so, prayers for safe travel, prayers he'll be ok, and prayers she and her family will be ok including his 86 year old wife...and now im rambling...thank you!

hey guys i was just gonna let ya'll know that tara will be having her gawl blatter(i think that's how you speel it) removed this up coming week. although it is not major surgery, she really needs friends praying for.

well, after a very successful surgery, tara is now home. thanks so much to everyone you prayed for her. we deeply appreciate it. i'm sorry i didn't let anybody know exactly when it was. we were kinda left in the dark about the whole thing and really didn't know exactly what was wrong with her. please continue to pray that she has a quick and healthy recovery.
Harry Potter is a very entertaining character. I have no desire to read the Harry potter books, nor do i have the time, but anything that encourages little kids to read is good. I see nothing wrong with him, i find it odd that the Christain Right has attacked the book series when there are much worse books and movies they could attack. The idea of "lets not read books like, Harry Potter," sounds alot like when at the Council of Trent, the catholic church established the "Index of Prohibited Books" which deemed certain books wrong to read. Books such as the "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" were included. Its all really silly to me. Its sad to see a 14 year old kid get everyone into a huff over nothing. So now I encourage everyone to go read Camus' "The Stranger" and Harding's "Jude the Obscure" and then see how offensive Harry Potter is.
i actually had this awesome guy i know go off on this a few weeks ago during a bible study. he pointed out that scripture says to test the spirits to see which ones are good and which are evil, and about the good and bad fruits, etc. harry potter doesn't produce any bad fruits. it doesn't promote witchcraft and it hasn't contributed to anything evil. so, pretty much, this guy said that harry potter produces good fruits <kids reading, safe fun, all that good stuff>. that made sense to me, let me know if it doesn't for yall.

hey everybody, how y'all doin? I'm in houston right now...fun fun fun! no really, it is! except my daddi hurt my little toe earlier...but anywhom, that's beside the point. So yes, it was good seeing all of y'all this past weekend, and those who weren't there...i missed you dearly! I REALLY REALLY did...unless i don't know you then, well I didn't know you weren't there so I didn't miss you. Babbling...sorry, i do that alot...Anyhow, I'm excited about 23, even though I'm not on staff, I know so many people going, ok i think I know 4, I knew more at MY happening, shooooooooo there was more than that from my church at my happening, but still. I'm excited, it's alot of my good friends going, I canNOT wait...I've waited too long to tell rachel my stories, AND to let her into my room...i put all my happening stuff all over my room, and i'm like uh oh, it's a good thing she doesn't come to my house every friday afternoon like last year. OK this has started to become just one big thought...Literally..have you noticed the lack of punctation and capitalization? anyhow, I"m gone now, Carrots to all and to all a good night!
