Try Kaspersky or panda, don't use AVG, its totally hopeless, i've found it to wanting.

You can check this link for top 20 downloads.

I use NOD 32 anti virus, my pc was playing up freezing etc so once I got NOD 32 it all stoped, I had two of the latest virus's around but also had lots of spyware etc, I used to use the free downloads but found most of them to be useless unless you ended up buying a product from them, pc is too important to leave to fate, buy NOD or any anti virus product its well worth it. I paid 60.00, and it updates regularly I dont have to do a thing.

Nod 32 Vs Nortons.

Yes Mes,
I tend to favour NOD 32 also.

For the last 12 months I have had NOD 32 on one computer, and Nortons on the other. This year I have Nortons on both. I find Nortons seems to slow the computers down considerably. Next year I will use NOD32 on both. I have found it to be very satisfactory so far.

The only advantage I found with Nortons, is some of the utilities, such as "Speed Disk", and "Express Cleanup" etc. I will have to look into NOD 32 more thoroughly, to see what utilities are available with it.

Regards......Ralph.
