Isn't it true that the Memorandum of Agrement (MOA) between the Landowners of Porgera Mine and the governmentincluding developer is well overdue for a REVIEW?
I hear grumblings amongst the young pogerans that the first MOA was signed by 'our illiterate fathers', and the young generation porgerans now want to take charge of the review of the MOA for better benefits to the pogerans.
If what I hear on the street is true, then it is serious and government must make haste to conduct this review. THe mining operations has a generational cycle and this grumblings on the streets is sure sign enough that something is amiss and must be attended to asap.
