Well guys, semester is over and as you know, a Goroka student was killed by some sepik student. He was stabbed multiple times just behind the Mathersons library. This was on the 23rd October. On the 24th, a minority, but a combination of highlands students went looking for sepiks students. This resulted in many sepik students missing exams. As a result, university administration through a circular defered examinations of sepik students to February of 2009.

I heard from a Senior Enga Doctor that highlands student will be taking action of sepik students are given special consideration as they argue that it was their doing and that the university must find and terminate those who were involved or else all sepik student will suffer.

Anyway, that just news from unitech!...I would welcome comments and thought provoking ideas that may help the University of Technology deal with a hugh regionlism problem on campus.
