Deep sea mining unless science say so.

Thank you Dr. Who for the info.

Personally I am dead set against deep sea mining. Science has to be undisputable. Underlying, we are not a proto-type country or a testing ground for such risky endervours.

I think the Bagbaga people have generally highlighted the issue. People are not ready for the introduction of deep sea mining.

Cheers.

Yeah kolwan, I am against sea bed mining.

PNG should not be the testing ground.

Furthermore, PNG is reknowned for having the best diving spots in the world! Let us promote that along with eco-tourism and not let multinationals to destroy our sea waters. Eco-tourism and diving is the best long term sustainable alternative for rural people who have vast sea resources.

Let's continue to discuss this issue and bring to the attention of main stream media so it is very clear that some us are against sea bed mining.

keep vortexing PNG.

Deep sea mining must not be allowed until all the people are informed.

Yes, thats 21,386 square kilometres put together is 1.1million rugby fields.

How can we manage something that we don't know how it works. Ocean currents, flora, fona, etc..to many unknowns. PNG be aware, we are been kept in the dark. I urge you all to ask for more information about underwater mining.
