My new sheets shrunk!

It never occurred to me they could do that. Luckily they still fit everything if I tug enough, but it was a surprise last night as I was putting them on my bed to find that they didn't fit like they used to.

I guess I should have checked the care tag when I realized that they felt "different" than my usual sheets. Smoother. I still haven't looked at the tag to find out what I should have done - hopefully I'll think of it before I change them again

The kids have been sick here for days and are finally on the mend. Yesterday I just had HAD it with the germs, and I stripped all of the beds, Lysoled the daylights out of them, opened a few windows in the bedrooms (despite the temperature only being in the 50's) and set the germs free.

It was so nice to sleep in clean sheets last night, even if they were a little snug!

FlyLady's focus this week is on the Master Bedroom. I can't say that I've paid a whole lot of attention to FlyLady in recent months. I've set my mailing list subscription to Special Notice more times than I can count. I'm back to getting all of the messages, but I haven't managed to read any of them yet, LOL! I just keep deleting them. My master bedroom does need a lot of work. It's mostly laundry piling up, and I've been taking care of that this week - did 3 loads yesterday. I just haven't put anything away. It's complicated. I have to sort through my regular clothes and my maternity clothes, and get all of my regular clothes put back in the drawers and the maternity clothes packed away. I had only just done the opposite less than a month ago, and I had never even put away the maternity rubbermaid tubs - I guess that should make it easier to re-pack it all up, I'm just not particularly enthusiastic about the task. And I really have to finish all of the laundry before I do that, so that I don't have any "stragglers" that don't make it up to the attic.

All I really have to do is put some clothes in the proper place and I've made it all complicated and insurmountable in my mind - I think I need to just set a timer and DO it!

I have had that happen before and I hate that!
I have been in a bit of spring clean mode, too...cleaned out bathroom drawers, linen closet, and some kitchen ones, too. also cleared out winter clothes from the kids room, as it is going to be summer sooner than i would like. never ending though!

I never finished sorting through the kids' clothes *last* season.

I did Eamonn's but Aidan still has clothes in his drawers that are entirely too small for him, and not enough room for the new ones, which I've taken to stacking on top of his dresser

I've really got to get on top of that, but I guess that's a post for The Laundry Room...

The sheets aren't a total loss. At least, not until I wash them again They still fit over everything if I tug on them enough.
