This is a question we have all asked ourselves. It is so hard to have faith and I even ask my pastor about how God could allow such awful things to happen and he too spoke about free will. I had a hard time with it at first but I have slowly been able to get back my faith. I see growth and progress in my child through faith...our prayer ritual has given us opportunities to see the gifts in our lives.
Your faith will return...for now you just have to trust.
