I am totally suprised and sadden. I have just finish discussing with a prominent M.D from Goroka base general Hospital and ParaMed from Angau. They both explain the following cases just to outline the severity of HIV spread:

1. Ladies write price tags on their Palms. A flash of their palms shows the price...ranging from K10, K15, K20, K30...etc

2. Credit basis is rife. Service now and pay later. Change to account one may say.

3. For high school and secondary school girls... Its called wet lunch...they are pickedup begining lunch and than dropped of end of lunch

These are some of the happenings... please be more aware of aids and spread the news of the distruction of aids through your circle of influence.

Regards

I am sure it is not only in Goroka. There have been stories of "bookings" not settled and police have to intervene in POM. The dilemma is who should the police arrest.

Best option is to legalise prostitution to at least keep track of the virus.

Legalising prostitution - A view against this issue

I am against prostitution because legalising it will make more people to work as prostitutes. I recognise the work done by prostitutes but I have to disagree with it on moral issue. Having sex with prostitutes is not good.

Job of a prostitute is hard and solitary. It is easy to get into this business but very hard to get out of it.

I am against prostitution because I do not think it is a nice job. It is also a playground where people who indulge in such acts easily contract STD.

My biased contribution
