Hi Colleen, I am a greatgrand-daughter of Edward Kosbab. I know he and his wife, Augusta, and my baby grandmother came over in 1878. They were from Pomerson. I have learned that was a country and not a city. I don't know how to find the town they lived in. I am now 68 years old and all the old folks are gone. Any ideas? Where were your folks from? Mine came before Ellis Island , I've been to Chicago to look but I couldn't find much of anything on them. Lots on my Dad's father,(this is his mothers side) Even found the ship Gottlieb Sahr came on. Well, I hope I hear from you. Lois
