Probably best one quits while they are ahead. That is something I am really working on anymore.
I wrote a post today with a lot of scriptures, explaining what I believe today about what their saying, planning on posting it, then stopped, and felt led not to post it at all.
Now I feel it was the Lord that I didn't do so. Although I did keep the post none the less, storing it for maybe another time, rather than just deleting it altogether.
Like I say, sometimes it is just better to let it go.
