Seems like the problem is more widespread than first thought!~
What does it stem FROM? (any thoughts?)
Maybe it's the concept of "certain" people believing they are just CERTAINLY right about what they believe and how they conduct their lives and most everything else? They have the God-given right to point out others' faults and to give advice on how they should live more righteously.
My oldest sister (and especially her husband) have had this "perfect" belief and system all of their lives. Every one of their kids rebelled and turned out to be a "disappointment." Most of them have divorced at least once. So how do they explain it? The DEVIL is unusually busy trying to destroy the work of the righteous. He leaves slack-ass people alone!~
They have the "right" to draw attention to all of one's faults and preach (ad nauseum/same old, same old) correction but .... if/when one turns around and reciprocates, it's the worst most insulting thing they could ever experience!
I tend to like and prefer people who are not so sure of themselves ... more than those who have all the answers and demand that you agree with them because they are "of God."
