We have a choice. We can put the welfare of insurance companies first, or the citizens of America.
How do you explain to those who can't see it for themselves that Obama is trying to help ALL Americans.
How can you make these slaves to Conservatism see they are being made fools of? They are being used by corporate America to get rich?
Obama has said repeatedly that if you like your insurance plan by an Insurance company; if you choose to have your premiums raised at the whim of these companies; if you want to continue getting ripped-off by your insurance company; if you prefer paying triple for the same health care and drugs the rest of the world pays; if you have fallen for the fear tactics used by Democratic and Republican Congessmen and women who are bought and paid-for by the Health Industry; if you are not aware that we are ranked 39th in the world reference health care, then you are free to keep your present plan.
Something is very wrong with a so-called Christian nation that puts insurance companies ahead of the poor; that is more worried that a government plan to help the poor would put insurance companies out of business, than poor people not having proper care.
Something is very wrong with a nation, the only nation, a 24 carat phony nation, so very pious and Jesus-loving on Sunday in Church, but so cold, indifferent, to the needs of the poor the rest of the week; so brutal they will put a family who can't pay in the street.
Shame...Shame...Shame on a so-called Christian nation that profits from the sick.
Let's stop lieing to ourselves. Let admit what we really are. A cold, indifferent, money hungry nation so sour it needs a little Jesus once a week to sweeten it.
We have formed a Christianity, a Christianity which should be called the American Capitalistic, Corporate Christian religion; a Christianity tailored to satisfy our greed and adoration before the altar of our God...the God of Profit.
It is little wonder the newer Bibles have changed the Proverbs 6:6 scripture. How can we reconcile our hatred of any form of socialism with the original Proverbs 6:6
"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways and be wise.
An ant hii is a commune...a socialistc commune. Is socialism, not complete socialism, bur forms of it which insure the poor the basics of food, clothing, a roof over their heads, a good education and quality health care. To which of these, my Bible quoting Christians, would you say Jesus would be opposed? Or would he say no because it might eliminate insurance companies and strai our finnances. Did God create money? No? Who did? Eliminate money? Why that's crazy. What isn't crazy? Continue sodomizing the poor. Shall we prey...oops...pray? Shal we be saved to the tune of "Tenderly, Tenderly, Jesus is calling? What a bunch of phonies!! |
