Proverbs 10:22 22The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
Wealth is NOT a problem, its a blessing, IF used wisely for righteousness.
Putting our TRUST in self, in wealth, that's unwise and foolish. This is what we need to understand, its not money that is evil, its the LOVE OF money that is sinful.
1 Timothy 6:17
17Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
Being content with what the Lord has provided is how a faithful Christian should think.
Heb 13:5 "Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have."
Prov 23:4-5 Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.
Whatever our financial situation, it is in Gods hands.
1 Sam 2:7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
Finally, I would suggest THIS be our prayer;
Prov 30:8-9 ...Give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, "Who is the Lord?" Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonour the name of my God.
