now in the past have struggled with acne and i still do. what has worked for me in the past have been Murad's line of acne. with in weeks i was competely clear and my dark spots were fading. the main problem i had with the line was that it didnt contain Benzoil Peroxide. i heard BP was proven to be the best treatment for acne in some journal. BP always seems to have had some kind of good effect on my face. it wouldnt clear up my acne completely but it helped alot. another problem i have is that my skin is senstive. i would consider my skin to be oily but most cleasures and moisturizers for oily skin are too drying. murad's acne line for oily skin made my face feel tight and peely. most moisturizers either causes more breakouts ore they dry my skin out to where its flakly and scalely. im still trying to find the right balace for my face wash and moisturizure.

anyways, the key to murad's treatment is sulfur and zinc oxide. they seem to work really well together but i decided that 20 bucks for a dinky little tube of this stuff is just too much money. so i tried DDF sulfur and BP gel formula. it doesnt contain zinc oxide but i figure i could mix in some from some baby bottom balm ( little did i know that that stuff contains mineral oil and the only time it was wirth using was at night. if anyone has some better suggestiongs im open for them). DDF gel worked amazing but eventually it stopped working and my acne is comin back.

now im trying something new. change my diet, do a body cleanse, try new products etc...

i got this Acne Protocol frome the Acne CureZone forum. it has a liver cleansing routine which i may try some time. i will post the link up sometime. it also mentioned Bentonite & Psyllium shakes to help dry up acne. diet NO NOs where mentioned which i will follow but i want to learn more.

as for a topical routine. i though i would try microdermabrasion. that seems to be great for acne. also i hear on other acne forums of using vitamin C serum, and copper peptide serum for acne and hyperpigmentation. so other stuff im going to try are the oxylight ( dermawand), colloid silver and/or stablized oxygen (both in internally and externally), essensial oils, glycolic acid peels. i probably dont have enough money to try all these treatments but i will research them. try a few and let you ladies know what happens.
