The Sunday, 6/28/09 at 2 - 5pm we will be hiking at Highland Recreation area. The Haven Hill preserve part of the Park is where we will be hiking. Our goal to to get to the top of Haven Hill and explore the old Ford estate ruins there, take in some snacks that will be waiting, and then head down hill, passing the old Pool in the forest and many interesting habitats. Don't miss this one. The haven Hill area is very unique, with examples of almost every tree in Michigan, as well as many diverse habitats. A great nature experience.
