Sorry for the long delay in our Hikes schedule. Due to some uncontrollable circumstances we have to delay any of our scheduled activities until after August 16th, 2009. There will still be some unscheduled Hikes posted on the Bulletin Board and sent out to everyone in an email. But our official organized Hikes will not resume until late August.
We have some simply Fantastic Hikes and outings planned for the late summer and Fall. We will have our ORIENTEERING program out at Holly Rec. area (includes the Bushwhacking Hike and Campfire talk and food), a re-scheduled Pontiac Lake Rec. area Hike-Petty Farm-Campfire Viddles with the PLHA, An overnight Camp-out for beginners (some basics on Tent camping and tips for a great outdoor weekend), just to name a few.
So get on the email list or check back in to the Bulletin Board or on the HIKING GROUP page of the web site for the new schedule in a couple of weeks.
Again.....sorry for the delay in Hikes, but it will be well worth the wait, I promise.
