Next Saturday we will be meeting at Seven Lake State Park for a combo Hike-FEN viewing. The park has many FENS and you will be amazed at these unique environments. Pitcher plants and other plants grow only in these different types of swampy areas. So be prepared with having the right footwear for a "Gushy" type of environment. It will be worth it.
After the FEN exploring the group will have the opportunity to end there afternoon with a short hike back to the Parking area, or venture out around the Dickenson Lake trail loop. This is a wonderful trail, full of many habitats, animals and birds. So join us for one or both of these afternoons adventures at SEVEN Lakes State Park.
