This Saturday, 11/14/09 at 12PM-3PM we will be hiking a new area for most people, at Holly Recreation Area. It is one of the designated Wildlife areas at the Park. We will be hiking and doing a little bushwhacking as well. This will be a kinda smaller version of one of our Orienteering Programs. We'll be doing some compass observations and some GPS work while we wander and discuss some of what to look for in keeping your bearings while out in the forests. This will be something a little different from our normal Nature or faster paced hikes. Come out and give it a try.
