Saturday, April 20th at 12 Noon, we will be meeting at the Nature Center at Kensington Metro Park. We will be Hiking the Wing Lake Loop, where we will be hand feeding many of the local birds there. This is a wonderful experience for people of all ages. The local Birds have become calm with being hand fed along the Trails there.
Also part of our Hike will be some observing of the Heron Island in the lake. About 8 nests exist there, and the Great Blue Herons have returned for this years nesting season.
If we get real lucky.......just maybe the Osprey nest will be occupied, or the infamous "White Squirrel" will be spotted along the Trails. Either way, it is a beautiful Trail around the Lake and worth the Hike in itself.
Join us on 4/20/13 and have some fun out at Kensington.
