Response to Duck Trails

Hey Darrin,
Those are fantastic trails along the Huron river. Unfortunately they are many times flooded out. Even in the middle of summer they can be pretty wet. But it's a toss-up.....it IS beautiful along the Huron river there. Your right.....the other side of the DAM is very Cool! Not alot of people head over there, and alot of it is rolling hills and dry, if You head east after crossing the DAM. Try heading over to the area that is West of Milford road as well. If you start at the old Horse Staging area, there are some great unexplored rolling hills and deep cut valleys on that side of the Park. You get the occasional Horse of Bike, but they are just wizzing by and then the area is yours. Especially if you Bushwhack there. No one does that, and you can find some wonderful and beautiful private spots there. After last Saturdays Hike, I just consider everything just a little wet in comparison to the soaking we all took. happy.gif
