in the winter. I like to cook beans over night then have them for all day on a sat or sun. We also make soup in it. In the summer maybe once or twice a month. I'll use it to heat up leftovers from the freezer(couple of hours) then have them for lunch or dinner. We have two crockpots(large and small).
Our beef roast always seem to be dry, so don't have that much. But last month we bought some pork country style ribs. I froze two to a package. Well, we cook two in the small pot and it was great as a roast. And we didn't have too many leftover, enough for lunch the next day. I've been trying not to cook so much since its just the two of us. |
