When I tracked down her brother, the family was surprised to learn this (this was at a time when the standard school uniform for teachers was chosen by June Cleaver, LOL...and Mrs. R was 5 feet tall and wanted to be taller than her 5th graders). Her niece said that by the time she knew her, she was in orthopedic shoes. Maybe you'll do well to just start out in orthos!!
