But DD doesn't merely have a permanent disability--she has a permanent disability with no hope of improvement. (It is what it is). It seems to me that some diagnoses should be exempt from periodic testing. I fully agree with testing others to see if their condition has improved. Since MR/DD is one of the biggest categories (if not THE biggest) of disability, exempting them from testing could save a lot.
