It's a chain, but local

They have 16 locally owned stores in BC and Northern Alberta. I've never bought furniture anywhere else, actually, since I've never bought new furniture before I moved here. Unless a futon counts... but I'll gnaw off my arm and beat myself to death with it before I EVER shop at the Brick again.

I might have asked more questions, but the set was on sale and I had a particularly difficult work week and very little sleep... The nice thing is that I could have had it in ANY colour. I'm happy with chocolate brown with reddish tones from the warehouse, though. Maybe my next couch will be whatever colour I want. 8-P
