Response to OT: orthopedic doc or neurologist?
causing the pain that is radiating. What's causing the nerve irritation/compression is the question. If bone is causing it then it will need an orthopedic fix or possibly a neurosurgical fix. The steroid course would have been the first thing I would have thought to do and since that didn't fix it you have to look further for the cause. You probably need an MRI. This is not to say it could not be cured by a chiropractor. I know nothing about them or what they do but it would be worth a shot and if it doesn't work then you could go the traditional route.
