we were on a plan with chase, and they took the $ automatically - except we have to renew the bank info annually and forgot, and didn't pay the paper bill bc duh - we have auto pay.
it took until the fourth call from them until we figured out what the problem was. the good news - by that time we were so far behind - they offered us the big time hardship plan, erased the current late fee and reduced the interest some more!
we have "call chase with bank info" on the calander for december 2011!
