once in a while we will treat the kids with lunchables on sale for 99 cents, with coupons we can get them for 50 cents apiece.
I agree completley that it's about smart shopping and reducing costs.
we DO send the kids to school with individual chip bags - purchased at sams less than $8 for 50 bags, volumne wise cheaper than if i were making my own baggies of chips, bc i'd use too many. Plas - since the are "for lunch" dh and i are not scarfing them down for evening snacks the way we would with a big bag of chips.
