| Hi, Pam. It was good to see your post. I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if you were still visiting FF. I have a question for you since your daughter is in the Marines, Is she not?
We want to send a care package to our friends son. I have heard that nothing that melts is allowed like chocolate. If I sent two packages, one with foods and the other with toiletries. What type of toiletries are allowed? Also her son is on a submarine in the war zone. Do they have microwaves on submarines. There is a great dried chow mein meal like a cup of noodles only it has to be microwaved that I would like to include for him to have.
I am thinking of hitting the $ store for lots of great things. I saw peanut butter and jelly on sale at Walgreen's and wondered if that would be a good choice although I would not be able to send bread. I can only imagine that he and his friends would love to have a comfort PB & J sandwich.
Thanks for helping me with this. We have never sent a care package to any military personnel.
