OUCH! I mentioned this to one of our surgeons and they said---"Hey, we just had one of those last week!"---that was my shocker! I thought it would be more rare...
The ICU is a bit of both----uplifting and can be sad. Lots of times there have been multiple trips and this ends up being the "last trip" to the hospital.....
