We turned our clocks ahead today and for some reason decided to call it a pj day.
I finished up the chair and bench cushions for our kitchen set and had enough fabric to make a runner for the table. Last week, I sent the table to the furniture guy for a top refinishing. It came back looking better than the day we bought it. This was much cheaper than buying a new table. It has really needed a refinish for a few years. Wish I had the space to have attempted this job myself. Now I need to Spackle a few picture holes and paint, plus redo a small chair. I am only giving it a coat of paint and adding padding to the seat.
Tons of free food came into the house this week so husband and I have been cooking this afternoon. We made and he ate calamari with potatoes. People are giving us fresh peas, rabe and tons of oranges and lemons.
