My DH and I have a standing date to watch British TV on Wednesday nights: Doc Martin, MI 5, and Eastenders. Doc Martin is our favorite. We are always impressed by the actors on British TV. It seems that they are hired for their acting ability, not their looks. Even Eastenders, which is a soap opera, has some amazing actors who could not have been hired for their looks (unlike American soaps).
