Bethann has posted about her grandmother, an immaculate housekeeper who always cleaned "one extra thing" when she did the dishes. I'm going to try this.
In a perfect world, I would clean the drip pans under my gas stove burners every time I did the dishes. And I do...for awhile, after a major stove-cleaning. In my world, which is not perfect, the drip pans get dirty and I don't have the time (or usually the inclination) to get the stove ship-shape. So, today I sprayed one (of the two) drip pans with cleaner and let it sit...as soon as I finish this, I'm going to wipe it off. Heck, I'm going one better--it's not going to be too hot here today, so I'm going to turn on the self-cleaning oven while I am at it! And hit the other drip pan tomorrow.
