not cast iron

porcellen(why can't I spell that word?) can and I think you might get away with stainless steel drip pans. My cast iron grates I spray with a degreaser and put in a garbage bag for a while and stick them outdoors in the sunshine. Then spray them off with the hose. It seems to work pretty well for heavy duty gunk. I don't do it too often tho'
