Sheila, I hope you aren't paying those guys by the hour! Good grief, that's frustrating.

Today I met with someone for a flooring estimate and will meet someone for a painting estimate this afternoon. Ds has a half day so we'll grab lunch at the rental then head over to the house and maybe spray paint the handles and hinges for the kitchen cabinets.

I washed the kitchen hardware last night and a coating came off the handles. Shellac or something. They're very shiny now and look pretty good. The hinges don't look any better though. So I'm torn over just putting everything back up as it is, painting hinges and handles or painting only hinges and leaving the handles shiny.

Dinner is the same chicken that's been thawed in the fridge for the last several days. Last night I made a brown rice salad with lots of veggies and an asian dressing and we decided to just have that and skip the chicken. Definitely chicken tonight!
