plumbing

We went to the house to take some "during" photos and checked the basement to see if there was any water after heavy rains yesterday. I don't think there's any water from the rain, but our sewer is backing up through the washer vent pipe onto the floor. So we're having a plumber take care of it. I already had an appointment with one Monday to test our gas lines but I can't wait that long to have functioning plumbing. The painters want to work through the weekend and finish tomorrow and I can't ask them not to use any water or toilet while they're there. So, time and a half for the plumber. Ack.
