a/c unit

Our upstairs a/c unit we noticed hasn't been keeping it as cool as we like it. The guy is here now doing the 6 month check on both units. He just came in and told me how old our upstairs unit is and we might want to think about putting in a new one. Yeah wouldn't that be nice, but no idea how we could pay for that!
Another thing that isn't working in our favor for upstairs is a nice big tree that had shaded our front of our house is now gone. Plus this extreme heat. He just came back in again because he was done and said that we are probably wasting a lot of electricity bill for that upstairs unit just to work hard and not even get it that cool. Although it doesn't need freon it's just old. Guess we need to think about how to budget in for a new unit. It definitely probably won't make it through next summer if it even makes it through this summer!
