This is a big weekend for yard sales in my neck of the woods. Even though I didn't plan to go to any...it's hard not to stop when you see a sign. I didn't find anything at one yard sale, but at another I got a vintage '50s-'70s kitchen scale. Not as old and well-used as I would have liked...but then, someday it will be! It has fruits and veggies painted on it, and I'm going to put it on top of the corner cabinets at the cabin. She was asking $5--I offered $3 and she took it.
