Same thing here in Michigan!

Craigslist has listings some of them are funny and probably not legit-like the one looking for hairy women and or women with large feet for a photo shoot!!! Does your craigslist have job listings?

My brother is in retail- he said a lot of the online is timimg, the stores will go to the most recent online applications when they are looking for someone but otherwise nothing happens with the apps.

One more idea-are there any 55+housing communities near you that you could advertise in to make house calls to give haircuts/"sets" for the senior ladies who don't drive much? My MIL uses such a person is why I suggest it.

It sure is tough to find work right now.
