the figs are ripe

We've been enjoying figs from the tree in the backyard. I was expecting them to be purplish when ripe, but they're yellow instead so they may be calmyrna instead of the common fig I originally thought. The birds and bees have also been enjoying them so it's a race to the finish to see who gets the most.

The weather has been lovely and dry the last several days. Having the windows open and the air off is so nice. And the lawn is green again after a decent amount of rain the last couple of weeks.

The basement is cleaned out enough that I can use the clotheslines now.
