I've had my Lady Schick electric razor for 22 years and loved it. Yesterday I broke a tiny plastic piece inside that held one of the shaving heads. I think it's broken for good. Can someone recommend a good electric razor? Not a foil head, and one that works fast. I'm super lazy about my legs and if it takes too long I'll turn into a gorilla rather than actually use it. I hate shaving my legs with a regular razor.
If you have one you hate, tell me that and why! Thank you!
that my mother got as a teenager and I am still using it. So I guess the thing is 60 years old?? I guess I am no help. Actually the hair on the legs decreases with age so I just give it an occasional swipe with a regular razor in the shower. Sorry I'm no help but had to agree with you on the Lady Schick.
It's about 24 years old and seems to be indestructible. I'll be so sad when it dies . I hope you find a decent replacement. Everything seems to be plastic junk these days.

When I told dh that my razor died he gave me a small foil travel razor that works really well (way better than the one that died too), and an older Norelco that I haven't tried yet. They're both men's razors, but who cares. Over the years he's used a steady stream of rechargeable Norelcos that my Dad has scrounged and fixed, sharpened blades, cleaned, etc. I also bought one on clearance at Kohl's for $11 this spring. He didn't want to hurt my feelings when I gave it to him so he didn't tell me he already had two that he swapped back and forth. So now he has two so he can use one and keep one charged and I have one, plus the travel one. Way more than one household needs.
And then I spoke with my Dad and he said he has a couple more Norelcos that he's fixed up if we ever run out. lol
I was fully prepared to go out and buy a new one for 35+, so I'm really pleased.
