Can this watch be saved?

I have a Timex that started to lose time. I replaced the battery. It still loses time--not a lot, but will lose 15 minutes or so over a couple of days. Does this sound like there could be something wrong with the mechanism? I would have thought it would have just died, rather than causing it to lose time. Thoughts???

That's weird. Never heard of that

I've had them lose time but like you said a new battery fixes it. I think I'd email Timex and say your watch doesn't keep on ticking.

Take it to WalMart.

Walmart sells Timex brand and they should be able to fix it for you. The ladies in the watch dept are very helpful.

electronic components failing

He said if it is an electronic watch the components are failing and nothing can be done. If it was a mechanical watch then there are adjustments that can be made.

That's kind of what I thought

But it's good to hear it from someone who knows. It was just a hunch with me. Thanks.
