I'm trying to get more decluttering done... trying to motivate myself, I should say. I do have a lady coming for a Freecycle bag of clothing this evening, so I guess that is a start and I am working on a small box for Goodwill....

Yesterday was a success as a no drive day. Today I have to drive and have to buy gasoline... My son has a doctor apt today after school.

I'm planning all meals eaten at home, and need to make scalloped potatos and ham before that Dr apt.

How do you re-motivate yourself to get back into decluttering??? Guess I should watch an episode or 2 of Hoarders... that always helps...

Yes it is electronic payment

That is a good point-if they weren't set up for the electonic payment with the CC company I would be sunk!

Avoided late fee by using online pymt

February 7 2012, 7:02 AM

I don't have cc bill automatically deducted but i was able to use the credit union free online bill pay today to avoid a late fee for a bill due tomorrow! Instead of putting the statement into my "to pay" folder which stands up on the desk, I had laid it down on the desk and it got buried under other papers!!!

Picking up my meds during lunch hour

February 7 2012, 7:46 AM

They're at Sam's pharmacy. While there I'm grabbing a hot dog, I think it's $1.30 so it's a cheap lunch. I brought breakfast to work. I have chicken thawing for supper, to be served with mashed potatoes and corn.

Yesterday I went by the library to drop off one book and renew the other 2 so that I didn't start getting fines, and while I was there I picked up a tax booklet and form for a friend. Hopefully today it wil lbe straight home, cook supper, and relax.

Those Sam's hot dogs are tasty!

February 7 2012, 10:45 AM

Here, they use Nathan's dogs. Do they down your way? I think the HD/drink como is like 1.79. I uused to like to get the pizza/drink combo for $1.89. No more, though! No greasy pizza and no soft drinks for me (I don't like that Gold Peak tea they have - yuck!). I will miss that meat pizza w/ the bacon on it ...

Only expense today was

February 7 2012, 5:36 PM

getting my hair done - cut and color. Dinner was lasagna and garlic knots. I made lasagna for Christmas dinner and then made a few more for the freezer. We'll have the leftovers tomorrow for lunch or dinner. I made an apple cake for snack tonight.

Tomorrow is going to be my cleaning day. Then we have a busy week starting Thursday.

Yes, it's Nathan's hot dogs

February 8 2012, 12:22 PM

And they are delicious! I don't like that Gold Peak tea either and I rarely drink soda so I skip the combo. Once I went in for lunch and they were out of hot dogs so I had to get a slice of pizza. Not nearly as tasty as the hot dogs!! Ours has recently started selling churros that are better than the ones sold at the Mexican bakery.

Oh, I know!

February 8 2012, 1:34 PM

I don't eat hot dogs very often, either. If I think about it, I can't eat them. Same goes for deli meat now that I know about the meat glue (ugh!), and also ground beef. Every once in a while I will have a hamburger, but I ahve not bought ground beef ever since I watched Food, Inc. I keep saying I'm buying a grinder to make my own, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Today

February 8 2012, 1:44 PM

The girls and I went to Fabricland. No word on whether DD#1 is pregnant or not. :-/

DD#2 bought enough fabric for an entire wardrobe of pre-1600's clothing and I bought a Frixion pen (You use it for embroidery and the marks disappear when you iron it)- on sale so I saved over a dollar on it.

Okay it is back to the sewing machine for me!
