pretty cool! I just got Ken Blanchard's Lead With LUV which is normally $19. I'm only a couple of pages into it and it's already interesting. My current company is all about leadership (and my boss recommended this book). I tend to think I'm not a leader because I don't manage anybody, but they address that immediately with a definition - Anytime you seek to influence the thinking, behavior, or development of people in their personal or professional lives, you are taking on the role of a leader.
Careful reading of this book might help me in my goal review process next year...
I have just finished 2 books that were really good. I checked them out from my library. I am waiting on the 3rd book of the series to check out and read.
The author is from Franklin, TN. A lady I work with recommended the books to me. As soon as I started reading them, I couldn't put them down. They are really good. She has written more books (and more series) too.
The author's name is Tamera Alexander.
The series I've been reading is Timber Ridge Reflections (From a Distance, Beyond This Moment, and Within My Heart).
I got these books on my Kindle from my local library. I'm not sure if everyone's library would have them.
Bev, you should especially look into reading these. They are set in Colorado but have references to TN in them. They are set in the late 1860's.
