My Granddaughter's birthday afghan

This one was also made mostly of stuff I already had on hand. I used up most of the brown on Drake's afghan so I did buy some more brown. You can't tell from the picture but this one is toddler sized too. I had planned to make them each a twin size, but then realized neither of them will be in twin beds for quite some time so why bother?

I have to admit, having them born within 6 weeks of each other makes gift planning simple. One idea, 2 renditions, and I'm finished.

The African--funny

We used to have an old lady in the nursing home who would talk about the African laying on her bed......LOL! It took all I had to keep a straight face!!!

I am not sure how this is in any way "on topic" but I got a kick outta thinking about it today.....

I really don't like crochet and am not very good at it. If you saw this piece up close you might not think I'm so talented, hehehe. But it does look fabulous in the pictures! This will be my last crochet project for a long time. Why bother if I don't enjoy it?
