During the night of the 27th december 2008 in Chanxehe (part of the village Sprimont) in Belgium 7 horses have been stolen. Among them 5 showjumpers and 2 (not broken) young stallions (a bay one and a black one).
I don't know how to put the photographs of the 5 showjumpers on thisforum. If you send us an E-mail we can E-mail them to you. The chestnut has a special ¾ shaped iron shoe. 4horses have the following microchip :

how can we stop the transportation of horses illegally?Somebody really needs to take this more seriously i am sorry that you havent got all of your horses back yet.Who checks horses have got passports?if nobody then why not!!!!!!!!
anyone can get a passport on the day !!!!!! the passport thing is a total waste of time

passport would work if people check them..
ok you can get a passport no problem..
but thoses who give them out should be more carefull..
ports should check each cargo with live stock on.. not just wave them on.. market should do their bit.. RSPCA should do their bit..
taking horses/ponies to shows their should be check..
put horses/ponies down you should be checked..
but as we no its not.. and guess what the people who help them self to our stock no it..
so come on DEFRA you made us spend money on passport check them and check them again..
i for one would not have a problem..begin asked for the paper work..
