Thanks Steve
Does anyone know on what basis the verderers choose the areas to be allocated a stallion? There has not been a stallion on Bull Hill since Benjamin was moved to Burley and he must be on his final year there this year. The nearest stallion will be Pilley allotments and there isn't a stallion on Beaulieu aerodrome or at East Boldre this year either unless one of the colts goes out later. It could be that the verderers think the B3054 is now too busy but as a mare owner it would be useful to know.

i think that as theres not so many turned out now one stallion has to cover a largr area so they spread them round in to different areas each year, there will be one fairly close to you,
