I contacted the Forestry Commission to find out when the forestry work in Busketts (most of which is currently closed Mon - Fri) will finish and this is the reply I received:

"We are a bit more than half way through the work programme in Busketts. The tree felling will continue for about 2-3 weeks, and the extraction for 6 weeks. So if all goes well the machinery should be out of the inclosure at Christmas. There will still be some lorries taking the timber away in the new year. The rides will be restored as soon as the weather conditions permit (i.e. dry enough weather)."

It will be a while before the rides are restored then!!

I go in there if they are there or not, they are only normally in one part of the enclosure so i just stay out of their way, its the best time to take the dog as there are no other dog walkers!
