I've just been reading Clive Chatters statement regarding the leaving of Linsay Cornish. He states that "Lindsay's knowledge of how defra works was fundamental in securing the Single Farm Payment for the whole of the forest to the considerable finacial benefit of all practising commoners".
I'm probably completely wrong, but I thought the CDA's Rick Manley & Emma Rigglesworth were behind this before the NPA arrived, does anyone know?

I am not sure about this and neither is Mike, but I can tell you that as with many things recently Emma Rigglesworth has done a huge amount of work on SFP and other things. She works away quietly in the background rarely getting the credit she deserves. Just a thought, Colin Draper at the Verderers office would know more than most about this, so you could always ask him.

Note in particular in this last one that Defra allocated 0.6 of a hectare for a pony, 1 hectare for a cow, advice the NPA would do well to heed when it publishes its revised draft plan later this year...

Rick came round today & explained how it all worked. It's no problem, just being inquisitive. Thanks for the replies.
