These blueberry muffins were great! DS won the 4-H baking contest for his grade (flavored muffins) on Saturday with this recipe. Also, he won an additional award for the championship for three categories (cornbread, biscuits and flavored muffins). I read the reviews and we changed the milk to buttermilk and we used brown sugar in the topping instead of the butter. Also, you could make 1/2 of the topping recipe and it would be fine. That is about how much we used. Instead of 8 jumbo muffins, we made 12 regular sized muffins.
