World's Easiest Punch Recipe (cheap, too)

May 27 2006, 10:36 AM

Mix approximately equal amounts of 7-Up or Sprite with pineapple-orange or pineapple-grapefruit juice. Dole and others have this juice in the frozen food case. A 12 ounce can of juice concentrate makes 48 ounces, so mix with four 12 ounce cans of 7Up (diet works fine). This will make 96 ounces, or 3 quarts. The amounts aren't critical as long as it's more or less equal. This is way better than it sounds and someone always asks for the recipe.

Banana Punch

May 27 2006, 2:48 PM

Banana Punch

4 cups granulated sugar
6 cups water
1 large can frozen orange juice
1 orange juice can water
6 bananas
1 small can frozen lemonade
1 lemonade can water
1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
3 quarts ginger ale

Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes.

Put bananas, lemonade and lemonade can of water in the blender and blend well. Add orange juice, orange juice can of water and pineapple juice. Mix all together. Divide into 3 containers and freeze.

Thaw 2-3 hours before serving. Pour ginger ale over before serving.

This is better if you put the punch in while still frozen. It is better if it is slushy.

Homemade classic lemonade

July 18 2006, 9:40 AM

You need:

1 cup sugar
1 cup lemon juice, preferably freshly squeezed
6 cups water

Mix the lemon juice and sugar together until they dissolve (some prefer to warm them on the stove, but I never do this and the sugar still dissolves). Add water. Mix well. Enjoy!
